TJ Mueller

TJ was the "big dog" trapped in a little dogs body. I have 5 other dogs ranging from her size up to a English Retriever mix. She kept everyone in line and made sure they knew she was "the boss." She would meet you at the door every time you came home with a shoe of someone's in her mouth. As you bent over to take it from her she would run away wagging her tail. Every morning she would make sure she let everyone know the kids were coming downstairs as she would jump on the couch and bark until they acknowledged her. She loved to lick your face and ears as she laid in bed or she sat on the back of the couch. If you started to laugh she would get more excited and lick even more. She loved to snuggle when she knew you were having a bad day or were sick. She was always there for everyone no matter what. TJ was diagnosed with Cushing's disease in December of 2014. Being told she would have about 16 months to live she fought a long battle up and down. She was diagnosed with Diabetes as well this year and she continued to fight. TJ passed away just over 3 1/2 years after her diagnosis of Cushing's. We were blessed with over 2 years more of what they thought we would have with her. She was a wonderful girl and the house isn't the same without her. She was so loved by her "sisters" but, she was really loved by her actual brother that came back into her life a year after they were separated. Their bond was very strong and he has struggled greatly with her loss. Rest in peace my sweet girl, mom loves you! We will forever remember you and miss you!
