Meeca of Golden Reign

2018 - 2025

meeca was a deep dark red beautiful golden retriever. she was just in the prime of her life when god called for her. She loved to play fetch, go for rides, carry things from the outbuilding to the house and even accept packages from the delivery person to carry into the house. She has been the smartest golden retriever we had ever had and we'VE had Golden's for several decades. we always said that about each golden we had that they sure were smart but meeca beat them all. She always wanted to go with Lisa for rides. her collar would hang over the railing going to the lower level and she'd always go and pick it off the railing and SHE'D take it to lisa to go for a ride. Around 3:00 everyday she would go out front and lay in the grass next to the concrete apron in anticipation for lisa to come home from work. As soon as she saw lisa's car she would run in the house so excited to tell me. she would always wag her tail when she would come over to the outbuilding to see me and she got so excited about it that she learned to spin circles. I remember taking her to Milwaukee to pier jump. that didn't appear to be her thing but she sure loved the water. At home in the summer she had her own kiddie swimming pool that she'd lay in wet, content, and happy. In the winter she'd look forward to standing on top of the tallest snow pile like she was the queen. She will be so dearly missed and we know she's looking over us and looking forward to seeing us again someday.
