BRUTUS WAS A GENTLE GIANT WHOSE PRESENCE FILLED EVERY ROOM.

At 132 pounds, he was a protector at heart, but also the sweetest companion you could ask for. He loved food almost as much as he loved his family, and he never missed a chance to torment the cats just enough to keep them on their toes. He always kept his mom, Emily, safe and secure with his presence and endless love.

He was happiest being right by our side at all times, whether lounging at home or out exploring. Brutus especially cherished his nature trail walks with his dad, Richard — adventures that let his protective spirit shine while he soaked up the world around him.

Brutus now rests peacefully, reunited in heaven with his grandma Doris, who surely greeted him with open arms. Though our hearts ache, we are grateful for every year of loyalty, laughter, and unconditional love he gave.

Brutus, our boy — you will forever be missed, and always deeply loved. ❤️🐾
